I recently read about how a fullness of joy comes when the body and the spirit are inseparably joined. I thought to myself of the advice of Elder Worthlin to "be where you are." Yeah we are not resurrected, perfected beings but we can be where we are. We can be happy with what we have rather than what we will have, what we want, or what we could have/should have/deserved to have. God is good, we need to remember that. Be where we are, and you'll be happy.

I am here
Life is meant to be enjoyed through the pain and the joy that accompany the mortal frame. I often dream about what it will be like. "It" being anything really. I often think, "It would to awesome to..." or "when I do this then..." but today I rode my bicycle. I went to school, did some reading, had lunch with my Dad, Abram, and Chelsea, came home, took a nap and went riding. Then I got stuck in this huge rain storm that came out of no where and had to call my mom to come pick me up. I think I chose wisely because my mom would have killed me had I rode my bike in a lightening storm. After that Chelsea and I went to Abram and Wendy's to play games. Really, Sam was not ready to go to sleep so we waited for a while and i tried to restrain myself from playing with him. BUT, while I was riding my bike, it was sprinkling and I met a guy named Keith, and another named Lewis. Both of them were awesome guys. The weather was perfect and we were just chugging along. Everything was working right.

Wow, that's a way sweet quote: "Be where you are." There are so many places I am not and more where I will never be. If you still have the Elder Bednar talk "Things as They Really Are," it's sort of like that. We all have to remember what's real and not get lost in what's not. Cool stuff.
