I have a new baby. Well, she isn't really mine. But she is a baby, within close proximity to me, sometimes. Her name is Savannah Jill Cordell. She is gorgeous. She was born February 11th at 8:31 PM. One of the coolest things was being able to see my brother with his humility, and love taking pictures of her while he cried. Here is one of my all time favorite persons in the world, the one that has been such an example in my life, crying. And all the while he was still setting the example of who I want to be. I get to present in my communications class about what my purpose in life is. I thought it the perfect opportunity to bear my testimony, but I very well couldn't just blurt out "I am a Mormon, you should be too!" So instead I am going the route of my purpose is to be a righteous father and raise a righteous family. I am glad that I have a righteous family now that I can model mine after, and that my brother is continuing to show me who and how I want to be. So many people have already spoken about how they want to be teachers or mentors or things of that nature in order to help kids that didn't have good homes. I would like to make that home that others think impossible and that the world defines as an exception. Thanks Abram.

Precious!! I love that name. I wanna see a picture of this cute little girl! Good luck with your presentation! I'm sure you're going to do fabulously. You have a very articulate way of using words and bringing the Spirit in with them.

Um, unrelated to this post, I'm pretty sure you don't check for comments after you post a comment on someone's blog (on mine anyway), but I thought I would tell you a piece of what I said. You should do a post like mine because if you do, then you can mark two more things off in your book of things to do...if you still have that book anyway. Just sayin'.

I like this post. I know this feeling as well good sir, though I have no brother. What's wrong with a man crying? Sometimes it's applicable (even if it doesn't involve spicy foods). I like your presentation idea as well friend, and hope that it went well, seeing as I am just now noticing this post several weeks later.
